I discovered this great value Bed & Breakfast quite by accident, ideally situated for touring the Somme battlefields at 42 euro for 1 person and 52 euro for 2 people this is exceptionally good value.

During my stay I had a sound warm sleep ( I stayed in January!)  in a nice bedroom full of French rural charm, the breakfast, was continental & included real British tea!!

Mme Roussel can accomodate up to 10 people, and there is an option of a 'family room'

There is secure parking and lovely grounds to sit and read in the warmer months

There is a lovely breakfast room with a log fire and some very nice WW1 artifacts available for sale including a book on the subject of postcards depicting Le Sars by Mme Roussel's Son Olivier.

There is also an extensive private museum that is a 'must see', it is advised to book early as demand is high as you can imagine!
